summary of my week: "starting college & going to see friends"

Sarah left for college in Montana tuesday :( see you in December, Sar Bear!

first day of college! i arrived an hour early so that i could get a parking spot. then i sat and talked with these lovely girls. 

so happy to be going to college with Maric. she's been my best friend since preschool!

english class with a chalkboard, weird.

crazy thunder and lightening! San Diego never gets this much, ever.



i flew to Phoenix to stay with Ken at ASU, went to NAU to help Shelby move in and drove home with Susan, Shelby's mom:

i arrived, after lots of turbulence, rain, lightening, and thunder. it was pouring in Phoenix! Ken had to pick me up in the pouring rain. she was soaking wet!

Susan and Shelby picked me up and brought me to Flagstaff.

the cutest little castle. Shelby says when she graduates and gets a good job she's going to live in that tower. i'm pulling for you, Shelb!
