Lord-willing, this will be my future: sitting next to my husband in a yellow vw bus full of our children, traveling across country.
at this moment i'm old enough to do things on my own but young enough to have little responsibility. i never want to be an adult that works everyday of there life and doesn't have fun, but in reality this is the least busy time of all of my adulthood (until retirement).
driving through the pretty Arizona scenery last weekend made me realize how much i love road trips. i've been fortune enough to go to a lot of cool places and gone on a lot of amazing vacations. although, my most favorite vacation EVER was a road trip I took with my mom and cousin Kara up the California coast 2 years ago. it was the most simple trip, but it was amazing because we had no agenda. we had no deadline and no one telling us where to go. we just went where the good Lord guided us.
& i am STARVING to go on another trip like that.
also, every since my dad showed my his backpacking photos from when he was young, I've wanted to go backpacking myself. it has always been one of my biggest dreams. now that I'm older and have a job that can pay for the supplies i would need to go, I REALLY WANT TO GO. i have a few friends that want to go with me (Heather and Sydney), we just need to find someone experienced (preferably a guy to protect us from bears and such...lol).
lastly, i have only been out of the country once, so i would LOVE to travel outside of the country.
my rapidly growing list of places to go:
-Mexico
-Greece
-India
-Tailand
-Dominican Republic
-Denmark
-United Kingdom
-Sweden
-Iceland
-Puerto Rico
-Austria
-Germany
