a see you later to my talented, beautiful (inside and out), brave, weird, generous, ambitious, adventurous, loving, fun, sister in Him.
this girl singssssss. she sings like an angel. her voice is so unique and i love it. i dream of her singing at my wedding one day! when she left yesterday for Seattle she texted all of her friends in a group chat a beautiful song she had written for us.
Syd went to Lane's school, but they didn't become friends until senior year. on Halloween of last year he introduced her and i at a worship service at church. after the service a group of us ended up going to her neighborhood and trick-or-treating together. Syd and i quickly knew we would be great friends because we were both obsessed with banana Laffy Taffy!
we continued to be friends, but didn't really start hanging out together without Lane until the end of senior year. but when we did start hanging out...man oh man we hungout a lot! now we never hangout with Lane, we are no longer friends of friends, we're BEST FRIENDS. thanks Lane!
side note: we are incapable of taking a normal picture...it just doesn't happen, but i love it. i have way too much fun with these two.
when we are together you can find us in a record shop, thrift shop, Papa Luna's, swap meet, Buffalo Exchange, or beach side. we bond over RECORDS. we're obsessed. i've never been to more record stores with one person in my life! we also find ourselves dreaming of backpacking together. God-willing, it will happen one day... hopefully SOON.
we often talk discuss how different our high school years would have been if we became friends freshman year instead of senior year. but i'm so thankful we were given this friendship!!
I LOVE YOU, sweet girl. have a BLAST in Seattle. stay true to your faith, post lots of instagrams or snapchats (so i can see what's going on), be safe, enjoy every bit, oh and study hard.
see you in December!
xoxoxxxoxoxooxo,
PS: thank you for the song. i will be listening to it often.
