Ash and her great grandpa.
her and Ryan are excellent boogie boarders.
and she gives excellent back massages on the sand!
after the beach we went to the neighbors pool who we're house-sitting for.
our Grandpa is the cutest, peeking over the fence to work his grandchildren in the pool.

she does these awesome cartwheel dives, that give me a heart attack every time.
but they're SO COOL.
meanwhile my dad is doing this...
i love these 3 goobers and i can't believe we were actually all smiling in this picture!
family carne asada taco night!
working on homework in my hammock with my mexican blanket. so nice!
this is what my tuesday at school looked like: new water bottle, new backpack, happy shoulders, and new Jack Johnson t-shirt.

i had the privilege of hanging out with this girl at da beach!

then we went to Papa Luna's again!!
love!
on our way to Granmom and Grandad's house my mom and i made an embarrassing singing video!
Sunday morning Granmom wasn't feeling well enough to go to church, so i made everyone homemade biscuits. also, i realized later on that it was Grandparent's day! Happy Grandparent's day!
Granmom helped me set the table. it's so funny how roles change when people get older! she used to make all the meals and i would set the table!
when you go to Granmom and Grandad's house you heat the plates before you eat. you just do.
yummy WARM FRESH biscuits.
i'm seriously considering making them again today because they were so good yesterday!
APPLE BUTTER. need i say more?
writing an essay with some of Granmom's iced tea. sooooo yummy.
right after i took this picture we realized the entire plumbing system was backed up and we had to leave Granmom a bucket to go in :( (too much info?)
when i got home from Yorba Linda i went to Natalie and Marty's house with Lane.
we biked to dinner...
at Carnitas' Snack Shack.
the Carnitas' tacos were SOOOO GOOD.

then we went to Hammond's for ice cream! Lane and i shared this flight of ice cream.
Jamocha Almond Fudge, Mexican Chocolate, Tahitian Vanilla, Apple Carmel Pie, Pineapple Cream...
SO GOOD.
this beautiful pink/purple sunset was a great ending to the week. as we rode home the clouds and the colors kept more intense. at one point we were riding down a steep hill into cotton candy clouds. it was like a movie!
this week the Lord continued to teach me PATIENCE through frustrating math homework, new friend situations, and weekends that don't follow the plans. but i'm reminded that He has it under control. He already has a plan, therefore i shall not worry.
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"
Proverbs 3:5-6
ps: i just realized i had tacos 3 nights this week! not that's a record.
