I was inspired by Amie from http://amiefaith.blogspot.com and lots of other bloggers to start a blog to journal my thoughts, ideas, pictures, and memories!

Making homemade berry and chocolate pies.
this picture was taken with a bunch of bananas as a tripod

recipe cards $1
two vintage pillow cases $2
rad vintage fabric $4
two grab bags full of vintage fabric scraps $2 each
my favorite fabric from the grab bags

Taking Kendal to No Surf for the first time.
A birthday dinner for Natalie with fabulous people and good food (burgers and my pies).
Facetiming with Kara, Kaylee, and Tom. They gave me good college advice, Kaylee told me about her breakfast with Mickey Mouse, and then she said "I love you Tessea" when I was saying goodbye. I love them and miss them solo much!
Tom and Kaylee making monkey faces
Going to church and listening to Sydney sing worship, which was such a treat. During the service there was an unusual, random, not California-like, summer thunder and lightening storm. That was pretty exciting!
And.....
Picking up Lane from the airport at 12:40 after his plane had been delayed for hours! It's sooooo nice to have him home and hearing all the stories from his mission trip. The Lord used him in some pretty amazing ways.
Tomorrow I begin the last week of the 6 week Learn to Swim program that I've been teaching all summer! Wooooohooooo
